Mortgage Lead Conversion Scorecard
A blank, aggregate-only scorecard for mortgage professionals reviewing the clarity, permission, and consistency of a business-development process.
A score reflects how clearly a selected process is described for one period. It is not a prediction, benchmark, lending decision, or evidence of appointments, applications, approvals, funding, income, compensation, referrals, employment, or business results.
1. Review frame
| Prompt | Your notes |
|---|---|
| Review period | ______________________________ |
| Audience or process segment | ______________________________ |
| Team or business label (general only) | ______________________________ |
| Reviewer role | ______________________________ |
| Aggregate source or method | ______________________________ |
| Fields that are unavailable | ______________________________ |
Process scale
Use a 0–4 scale for the selected period. These labels describe process maturity only.
| Score | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 0 | Not documented |
| 1 | Intended but inconsistent |
| 2 | Partly defined |
| 3 | Documented and reviewed |
| 4 | Consistently documented and improved with aggregate evidence |
2. Aggregate stage check
Record only aggregate counts that are available for the same period and audience. Leave a field blank or write unknown when it cannot be verified.
| Stage | Aggregate count | Definition or source | Caveat or excluded items |
|---|---|---|---|
| Educational-resource interactions, if measured | ______ | __________________ | __________________ |
| Inquiries | ______ | __________________ | __________________ |
| Permission-based follow-up requests | ______ | __________________ | __________________ |
| Qualified inquiries under a written definition | ______ | __________________ | __________________ |
| Appointment requests | ______ | __________________ | __________________ |
| Confirmed appointments | ______ | __________________ | __________________ |
| Attended appointments | ______ | __________________ | __________________ |
An inquiry is not automatically a qualified inquiry, appointment request, confirmed appointment, or attended appointment. Do not calculate a rate when its denominator is zero or unknown.
3. Five-pillar process review
| Pillar | Evidence to inspect | Score (0–4) | One gap or question |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attract | Is the audience clear, the educational value useful, and the invitation accurate? | ______ | ______________________________ |
| Connect | Is permission clear and is the initial response relevant and easy to decline? | ______ | ______________________________ |
| Convert | Is the next step specific, voluntary, and distinct from a lending decision? | ______ | ______________________________ |
| Scale | Are the roles, definitions, and aggregate review practices repeatable? | ______ | ______________________________ |
| Multiply | Are lessons documented without turning an experience into a promise? | ______ | ______________________________ |
Attract check
- The intended professional audience is named.
- The resource or invitation provides useful educational context.
- The language does not promise a lending, income, or professional outcome.
Connect check
- The reason for contact is clear.
- Any follow-up is permission-based and can be declined.
- No personal or borrower information is placed in this scorecard.
Convert check
- The next step is voluntary and accurately labeled.
- A request is not described as a confirmed appointment.
- The process does not imply a recruitment, employment, referral, or lending offer.
Scale check
- Roles and definitions are clear enough to review.
- Aggregate counts are kept separate from private case details.
- Unknown information is labeled rather than assumed.
Multiply check
- Lessons are based on aggregate evidence or a clearly stated question.
- The team avoids presenting one experience as typical.
- The next improvement is small and reviewable.
4. Three-action improvement plan
| Priority | Small change to test | Pillar | Owner role | Aggregate evidence to inspect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ______________________________ | __________________ | __________________ | ______________________________ |
| 2 | ______________________________ | __________________ | __________________ | ______________________________ |
| 3 | ______________________________ | __________________ | __________________ | ______________________________ |
What would cause this change to pause for clarification?
______________________________________________________________________________
What remains unknown?
______________________________________________________________________________
5. Continue the learning conversation
Review the Next Level Growth System for five-pillar exercises, or use the 30-Day Loan Officer Growth Planner to turn one improvement into a focused practice period.
This is general educational professional-coaching information, not legal, tax, financial, lending, or employment advice. It does not promote a loan product or promise income, approval, compensation, referrals, employment, or business results. A voluntary coaching consultation is not a recruitment, employment, referral, or lending offer.
Do not send Social Security numbers, account credentials, tax returns, bank statements, or other borrower documents through a public form. Use a verified, approved lender or employer application portal if you choose to apply.
Optional next step
Keep the next conversation educational.
Requesting a coaching conversation is optional. It does not promise income, production, referrals, employment or business results; it is separate from a lending decision.
